Willie Lora is a multiple Award Winning Media Executive. Lora brings over +35 years of experience in broadcast media and communications. He is also the Founder and CEO of Lora Media Consulting, as well as the Vice President of The Los Angeles Tribune en Español.  

His distinguished career includes 20 years with CNN en Español, where he served in key editorial and leadership roles, including News Producer, Washington Bureau Chief, and News & Political Director. Throughout his career, Willie has covered some of the most consequential events of the modern era—from the September 11 attacks at the Pentagon, Hurricane Katrina, and the devastating earthquake in Haiti to Middle East peace efforts, major international summits, and multiple U.S. presidential elections.

Known for cultivating high-level relationships across governments, political institutions, and international organizations, Willie has helped expand access and break new ground in international news coverage.

He has also led digital transformation and multimedia initiatives, including the launch of CDM en Español, extending his expertise beyond traditional broadcasting into the evolving global digital landscape.

His work and leadership have contributed to journalism recognized with two Peabody Awards and an Alfred I. duPont–Columbia University Award. He was also honored by the Dominican Republic with a knighthood, recognizing his professional contributions and distinguished career in international media.
